According to researchers at MIT, the day is getting closer when people will be able to eat their favorite dishes without gaining weight and live up to 120 years without suffering from diseases related to age and diet, such as diabetes or cancer. They have known for many years that controlled fasting can increase the lifespan of mammals by up to 50 and that, furthermore, mammals that have followed fasting programs do not suffer from the usual diseases of old age.
